“I Want To Go Deeper” Poem

Posted: November 18, 2012 in Christians and The Church, Jesus Encounter, Poetry

It’s the glory of God to conceal a matter, the glory of kings to seek it out…

Well, I am here searching,
Practicing my royalty by endeavoring into Your divinity.
It’s a multidimensional, para universal Easter egg hunt.
The end: Unknown. The means: Five plus senses enthralled by Love, yearning for a touch from…
What’s that over there?
I see a little of You in me, Your fingerprint on the tree, Your glory in the flight of the bee…
Or is that just coincidence?
No, no, no.
You see, kings view life from the castle,
We see the bigger picture,
Which ironically is picture in picture to His reality,
Like when you think your TVs big and then you visit the theater down the street…
Mind blown as the vibrant colors tickle your pupils and the surround sound shines on your eardrums.
And that’s just peering out your front door.
Life’s beautiful and You, the Creator, even more so.
The more I press in to You the more my wrinkles disappear.
Pursuits a pleasure when the treasure is lifetime guaranteed,
A life freed from condemnation and guilt.
It’s a promise land of glory You concealed for me to discover…
Well I’m here searching and I found my first egg.

This poem was birthed from another post I wrote called UPDATE: Why Do I Feel Like I’m Going Crazy???

To God Be All The Glory!
